Tree Climber
Job Summary
The Tree Climber is responsible for performing tree climbing and lift operations to safely and efficiently prune or remove trees. This role requires expertise in tree climbing techniques, use of specialized equipment, and a strong commitment to safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in the field, excellent physical fitness, and a passion for tree care.
Responsibilities

Perform tree climbing and lift operations to safely prune, trim, and remove trees

Knows proper use of ropes, harnesses, and other climbing equipment

Strong understanding of climbing techniques and procedures

Operate and maintain chainsaws, hand saws, chippers, and other equipment

Communicate effectively with the ground crew to coordinate tasks

Assist with cleanup and disposal of tree debris, ensuring clean worksite
Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with all crew members

Basic understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow directions.

Reports for duty, on time, each day
Physical Demands

Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects

Ability to work outdoors in various weather condition​​
