Groundsman/Groundworker
Job Summary
The Tree Groundsman supports tree removal and pruning operations by performing essential ground tasks. This role involves handling tools, clearing debris, and maintaining a safe worksite. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities

Clear brush, branches, and other debris from the worksite

Move and feed logs, branches and brush to the woodchipper

Operate and handle chainsaws, chippers, and other hand and power tools

Work around large machinery such as bucket trucks, chipper trucks, stump grinders, etc.

Provides support for the tree climbers by controlling lowering ropes and limbs
Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with all crew members

Basic understanding of safety procedures and the ability to follow directions.

Reports for duty, on time, each day
Physical Demands

Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects

Ability to work outdoors in various weather condition​​
